Studio Views

I live in an old Methodist church that was built in 1790.

My studio is downstairs.  After a flood in the 1950′s, they jacked the whole building up, moved it back by 500 ft. or so, and built a 6 ft. foundation for it to sit on.  The result is a “basement” that has high ceilings, is only a third underground and sports french lead windows that lets diffused light in.  It gets a little chilly in the winter, but, the resulting cool in the dead of summer is heaven.

Some views of the studio with the Circle in Square paintings and the Toy series.

  1. I first looked at your page here because we share two things. One the love of making art and two our names ( spelled the same way too)!! how wonderful to have a old building as a studio, or for that matter a studio. lol I work in my basement. I love textures, bright colors and abstract. Just wanted to say hey. love your work.

  2. Love your work
